The fruit of the calamia plant is large and a light red color close to pink. Routinely sold for its medicinal properties and may also be foraged wild. The properties of calamia are greatest when the fruit has been dried, but few bother to do so, seeing as the fruit is amazingly effective when fresh. Calamia grows in very warm, moist climates.
